Fill in what you know
The character sheet comes right after checkout and works with partial answers. Mark it as a gift, say what you're unsure of, and I'll keep it flexible. A quiet look at their character sheet, or a text to their DM, helps a lot.
Step 3
Approve the design
You review the preview, with one round of revisions included. I print after you approve.

They redeem it whenever they're ready, tell me about their character themselves, and approve their own design. Print it, forward it, or have me email it to them on the day. Certificates work right up to Christmas.

What if I don't know their character?
Tell me what you can. I'll keep the open parts flexible and ask follow-up questions. Or give a gift certificate and let them fill it in.
How does a gift certificate work?
You buy it and add their name and a message. You get it by email to print or forward, and I can also email it to them on the day you pick. They redeem it at layerwrightstudio.com/figurines/redeem with the code, give me their shipping address, and fill in their own character sheet. Shipping is included, and it never expires. I'll email you when they redeem it.
What photos should I send?
Any clear photos of their face from different sides. Candid shots work, and group photos do too if their face is sharp. Only one front-facing photo is required.
Can it ship straight to them?
Yes. Enter their address at checkout and it ships to them, tracked.
When should I order for Christmas?
By December 10. It ships within 7–10 business days after you approve the design, and the design review comes first, so earlier is better. Gift certificates can be ordered right up to Christmas.
Does it come painted?
No. It arrives in one solid color, unpainted, which is perfect for players who paint their own minis. It also looks good on a shelf just as it is.
